Bryant Gumbel is an American journalist, sportscaster, and television personality.

He is best known for working at NBC’s “Today” as a co-host for 15 years. Gumbel has hosted HBO’s critically acclaimed investigative series Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel since 1995, which the Los Angeles Times has dubbed “flat-out TV’s best sports program.” In 2012, it received the Peabody Award.
Bryant went to school and graduated from De La Salle Institute in Chicago. He also attended Bates College and graduated with a degree in Russian history in 1970.
